The one rule that changes everything
Always use dry. No water. No dampening. This is what makes the OG Sponge different — and why your foundation finally sits on your skin instead of sinking into it.
Step by step
- Start with clean, moisturised skin. Let your skincare fully absorb before you begin.
- Pick up your product directly. Dab the flat base of the sponge into your liquid, cream, or powder foundation.
- Press and roll — don't drag. Use a gentle pressing and rolling motion across your skin. Never wipe or swipe — this causes streaking on textured and mature skin.
- Build coverage where you need it. Go back over areas that need more — under eyes, around the nose, chin. Use the precision tip for these zones.
- Set with powder if needed. Use the same pressing motion with a powder formula on top.
Tips for mature and textured skin
- Less product, more layers. Thin layers blend better on textured skin than one thick application.
- Warm the sponge briefly in your palms before use — it softens the velour and helps product glide more smoothly.
- For under-eye and nose areas, switch to the Mini Sponge for more precision.
- Clean your sponge after every 2–3 uses to maintain performance.
